A carefully selected group of Norwegian designers, craft artists and manufactures was invited to exhibit at the Norwegian Embassy in Stockholm during Stockholm Design Week 2017. The result was the exhibition, A colour Composition – New Noregian Design.
Curated by the talented Norwegian- Italian duo Kråkvik & D’Orazio, the exhibition took place in the Norwegian architect Knut Knutsen’s iconic embassy building from 1952. From our new Spring collection 2017, Balancer by Yuue was picked as one of the products for the exhibition. The opening night the exhibition was open by Ambassador Kai Eide exclusively for press and selected guests, and the two following days for general audience.
The event was initated by SMI (Samarbeidsrådet for møbel og interiør), a network of designers, manufactures, organisations and educational institutions – recently etsablished to strengthen the Norwegian furniture and interior design industry.
