With its strong geometric shapes and soft, gentle contours, the latest member of Northern’s Birger Dahl Birdy Lamp series continues to celebrate the style and relevance of one of Norway’s leading contemporary lighting designers and architects.

Based on an original sketch from 1952 but never released, Northern has worked in careful consultation with the Birger Dahl family to bring the Birdy Swing Lamp into production for the first time.

Thanks to its easy-to-use switch, smooth rotating axis and striking silhouette, this character-filled lamp is as relevant and appealing today as it ever was.

Available as a wall lamp, floor lamp and table lamp, the Birdy Swing is made from steel and aluminium, with a choice of black, brass or steel finishes.
